I am sure it's No#1 and for the life of me I have searched all the huge sites and not one mention. It is as if it never existed.. I am looking at it now and it says all new stories - at the bottom it says DOOMED WORLD. $1-00* $1-20*NZ as it is written. I swapped it at bill's book bizarre in Ballarat in 1974 and it wasn't new then. It's in good nick a few wrinkles. But the artwork inside is nothing like anything I have seen before. I am a pencil artist myself of some 10 years. I only have 2 Comics from the same time 1970's. The is the original Crow not the supposedly the first one by the American artist of the 80's. Made into the movie with the late Brandon Lee this is pre 70's and another I can't find anywhere.. great artwork as well.

Editor's reply: This is a huge mystery! I have done research too and nothing. Can anybody shed light on Death Rattle?

Death Rattle
by: Terry Morris

"!!Wow!! you sure did a great job on death rattle. Thanks, I must have look at 1000's of publishers and only 2 responses. There is a later version, but the resemblance ends there, it was an 1980's comic same name only. The other response an Asian European publisher said it is a one of series and I have either No #1 or a copy.. from comix I went through comix and found nothing, I contacted the publisher who said it wasn't worth $5 dollars.. some 7 emails later from him wanting inside scans, back page scans, I thought why all the interest over a $5?? dollar comic. so It's No#1 of 1 series properly very few have survived since the early 70's. It has to be rare if no one has heard of it.. 1 of 4 or 5 left world wide?? "Oh! well I keep looking" cheers from terry morris
