It's obviously not in the best of condition... I also have a taped spine Tales of Suspense #39.

Editor's reply: It's very tricky to grade a comic liks this, with a photo of the comic inside shiny Mylar.

However, it's definitely one of the roughest copies of FF#1 I've ever seen. It looks as if somebody left it in their hoodie and put it through the wash!

Water staining, and some color loss to the spine area, bad wear all over.

However, even in this rough shape, it's a $1,000 comic book!
