I have more pictures if you need them.

Editor's reply: Sandman is one of the DC Comics characters that has been 'brought back' from obscurity on more than one occasion. Confusingly, he's also a (different) villain from the Marvel universe!

He can be found in all kinds of places, including World's Finest #2, various Wonder Woman comics, Moon Knight, Spider-Man comics, Tales to Astonish, Swamp Thing, and many, many more.

Your comic is the first in a dedicated 1970s series that lasted only six issues. (DC would bring him back in 1989 for a longer run.) The record sale for this comic was a shade over $1,200, in CGC 9.9.

Unfortunately, yours is not as nice as that. The stain, and some corner issues, bring it down. It is worth about $25 in this condition.

Check these completed eBay listings to see how similar comics ended up when they were sold. Good luck with yours.

No stain
by: Ash

Without a stain, it might be 9.4 or 9.6. Even so, that would be a value of around $55 to $75.

Stain...
by: Anonymous

The stain is actually a shadow from the camera. I had fits trying not to get glare from the overhead light. I do have quite a few other pics that I could send if that would help.
